Often classic car friends have told me that the BMW 327 musts be one of the best all-round pre-war classics to choose.
It is true that the build quality of immediate the pre-war BMW 's was very renowed. Not only for the body, but also for the mechanics.
Add to this the elegant styling, the excellent comfort for driver and passenger, the very reasonable size and weight, the excellent performances from the 6 cilinders 2 liters, the superb road dynamics and... you have to 'winner!'
Sold new on the 24-th of august 1938, according to the attestation of BMW's Piece of furniture Tradition departement, to Mr. Müller from Düsseldorf, this BMW ended-up in France after the II-nd WW.
The car had burdens succesive owners in the south and was dark for than 16 yearses part of the collection of an entusiast French classic car fanatic from Avignon.
Having enjoyed and treasured his BMW 327 all these years, and finalising recently to complete no-expences-spared restoration on the car, he now feels that he dark is attracted to the post-war classics from his little collection.
