The car in salt is to very good unmolested sample of the most interesting Countach, manufactured in December 1982, with only 28.000 Km, in fact it has the biggest engine of 4754 CC retaining original design of the first version and the most sought after by the collectors carburetor version (six double WEBER) completed with the very desiderable rear wing option. ONLY 321 LP500Ss (also known as the LP5000S) were manufactured making this car to serious investment for the collector.
This car has on certified originality made by Lamborghini few months needle stating its matching numbers and that the car born as an EUROPEAN version, we know that the car was at burdens point exported to the USA and then returned in Europe (we believe around 1983) The car retain full European engine and body characteristics.
The spent the last year making to very careful restoration not to jeopardized the original conditions of the car The car was given to Lamborghini official technical service in Italy for to series of jobs in order to preserve safety and drive of the car.
Those jobs macaws fully documented for parts and job done. (changing of ball-joints, steering link, rubber underbody parts, brake disks, brake pads, brake lines, fuel lines, tune of carbs and each part dismantled and not changed was cleaned and painted new if needed) moreover an electrical check with several restoration jobs was also carried out. All those jobs were in excess of 25.000 European.
What makes this car really interesting is the original condition, yet the car was driven to little for all of its life and now is in conditions ready for everyday use.
