Piaggio Vespa 150 VBAs, year 1959, Enrolled F.M.Th

In 1959, following the renewal of the range, Piaggio puts in production the Wasp 150 VBAs founded on the loom of new conception derived by the 125 of the'58. The model VBA introduces an innovation that diventer the strong point of the Wasp up to our days: the aspiration valve rotating motor. The Wasp VBA had a notable success and gett the bases for all the models 125 and 150 cms of the sixties. The carburetor doesn't possess the englobed starter (air), such function was left to one 'butterfly' sets to the entry of the box filter, throwing the knob of the air, under the saddle, the entry of the air is sensitively closed, to half butterfly, increasing cos the quantity of fuel (gasoline) in comparison to the combustive (air) one. Such solution was for immediately set aside so much that the same Piaggio diffused one note of maintenance to the shops suggesting to replace box filter and carburetor with the englobed starter.
