TVR Grantura MK1. 1959
The TVR Grantura MK1 had been produced since 1958 to 1960 in around 100 (one hundred) samples!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the models were built using himself/herself/itself of various parts già existing on the market: brakes of the Austin Healey, suspensions and back bridge of the May-bug VW, various motorizations, Ford, BMC, Coventry Climax.
This small coupé, based on a loom tubular product in the house, guaranteed great rigidità and I weigh contained, thanks to the body shop in vetroresina produced by the Grantura Plastic, from which, note, the name. This TVR, loom 7/C/139, & egrave; equipped with a motor BMC-MG of 1588cc with head in aluminum "cross flow."
It possesses new HTP FIA of mint and an unbelievable historical documentation, that part from the birth of the car until to arrive to today, the all documented by invoices for thousand of Pounds, notes of the jobs performed by the various owners of the epoch, photos of the demonstration to which have taken part the auto, book use and maintenance (workshop manual) of the epoch, two veichles log book, one of a club candese and one of an American club, old fiches FIA xxxxx A piece of history on four wheels that to say? For the sick whole corsaiolis & egrave; the perfect auto, small, light, manageable and xxxxx DNA TVR makes him feel on board of this small meteor!!!Currently with the motor to be seen again.ELIGIBLE TO THE THE MANSS CLASSIC.
