Ferrari Daytona (advert expired)

Yellow Ferrari I intern in skin black.
Shown up at the Saloon of the 1968 Paris automobile in version coupé (GTB /4), the Daytona took the place, in the list Ferrari, of the 275 GTB/4, from which it inherited the motor V12 with 4 camshafts in head (2 for bancata).
The elegant and sporting body shop (doors and chests were in aluminum), drawn by Pininfarina, it covered a pylon completely new central loom. Very rich the series of novità techniques in comparison to the preceding model: the motor was climbed on in longitudinal anterior position, while the change (manual to 5 relationships) was to the retrotreno, in block with the differential (autobloccante) one, according to the scheme transaxle. The retrotreno, abandoned besides the old scheme, it attacks rigid to adopt a new wheels geometry independent with overlapped (the same configuration that was found to the front-axle assembly) triangles. Obviously the brakes were to 4 disks autoventilati, with servocomando.
Fed by 6 carburetors to double body, the V12 of 4390,3cc, also dignified by the lubrication to dry carter (cioè with circuit always in pressure and deprived of cup), it disbursed 352cv, enough to push the Daytona to 280 km / h.
In 1971 a light restyling interessò both the versions. The band was eliminated in transparent plexiglas of link among the anterior (what they became 'to disappearance') lighthouses and you/they was adjourned the insides.
The coupé uscì of list in 1973, replaced by the 365 GT4 BB, while the spyder of which the last samples were produced, to still satisfy overseas the orders of open, he/she remained still in production one year.
In everything 1350 Daytonas GTB/4 and 136 Daytonas GTS are been built /4.
